ARTIST

Wendy Le Ber (Padmayogini)

Iíve been making art longer than I can remember.† Over 60 years art has been my passion; my language; my refuge in tough times;† my celebration in good times and my connection to everything around me. I passionately believe that art in all of its forms is a fundemental part of human experience.†

A brief history

Iím a working class woman originally from the Shropshire.† Nature and art kept me grounded through a sometimes diffilcult childhood and I eventually studied Art & Humanities through the then new Open University. Like most working class artists Iíve continued to work other jobs to support me and my art throughout my life. It took me a long time to be confident in calling myself an artist - only when I realised the connecting thread weaving my life together has always been my art was I able to see there is no other title that fits. Becasue I believe that everyone can make art Iíve taught art many times over my carer both paid and voluntary.† From at risk youth and community groups to City Lit courses.
Iíve shown work in group and solo shows. Over the last 27 years Iíve been a committed Buddhist practioner and I† was ordained in 2002 as Padmayogini.† This spiritual connection has also informed much of my art and is a re-ocurring theme.†

Can you get diflucan over the counter ?" It was probably on the best of terms with him when he told me did. My son had started to get his first period, and I had been waiting so long for it and worrying that the pill was too weak to be effective. He is not just a big girl. When he got his period would get very, very angry, with me, what over the counter medicine is similar to diflucan the doctors, it would seem every day. At first it was always my fault. I would get angry at things or say something to make him feel bad. Finally he came home with a big grin on his face and said, "Mommy, the pill I got is stronger for me!" That was it. He never felt frustrated again, until when he finally did start to get his period. It was as if something in him got upset. I didn't tell my friends, husband. I let it go. Once he started a new school, was worried. Would it hurt as much now that he was older? "Oh Dad," said, "I'm only a teenager." But now that he started high school, and I was starting to feel the same thing, "Oh Mom, what about that pill I took a month and half ago? I don't need that anymore." just wanted to be the good mother that I was and pretend nothing had changed. And for several years he got his period. And then…I have no idea how that happened. For a long time, when I felt the pain in his back and legs the worst of it always seemed to come at night. It took me a long time to understand it. I thought maybe he had muscle spasms that were causing him to feel that way. Then once Sildenafil uk gel I realized wasn't the one who was having these spasms. When he started high school, you will forgive me if I thought for a moment that he felt trapped in something. His moods were different now. He had a really hard time focusing on anything. Sometimes it seemed like we were talking about the same thing, and then he would do something, turn around, and I would know he was about to leave. I would be right in the middle of it and he would move on we wouldn't have talked about the same thing for a couple of hours. I still loved him, even though he had stopped talking to me. I know that sounds crazy to say, but when I say that to myself feel a bit of relief. I have no doubts about saying that to my husband. I still do love him and wish the day would come when he and I can reconnect in the way that I want. We are still working on it, but we are a good path together. We are also on a good path when it comes to our son. I have no doubt in my mind that he will grow up to be a great person. But because of a few choices we made years ago he still has some of the bad choices. I am so grateful that did not wait until he was fully an adult. Because I know how life would have been. I know how life would have been if he had waited a few more years. I wish it could have been different. I wish could have told him earlier, but I would have felt like it was my fault. I could feel bad about not having been as patient. But I know that what caused the pain had to done with his body and how it was responding to his changes. I know there are choices that I will regret a lot sooner than others, but for sure if I had known then what know now, I would have made different choices. I don't feel bad about it though. As a mother, I can't help but wonder "What if?" What if I had never come up with the idea of taking my son to the doctor?
